Yes! These SAM radars and launchers are still missing from DB. Is there any chance to integrate them into FFx.x?

the idea - or dream  , is to make several DBs for different timeframes. F11 and B47 fit in 1950-60, historical korea war DB.
and a 1960-80 DB, for historical vnam and cold war.

If you want to use it then learn how to put it into the database. But don't whine about it.

Stef,
If you know how to put objects in the DB already (as the new objects in your pictures above imply) then why are you posting they won't be used? That's just whining and/or trolling; hence my post to stop whining.

BTW, you're acting like a 3 year old calling me names. Chill out and/or grow up.

err..relax guys.
As i said before, making new 3d models for falcon world is much easier today.. the challenging part is DB editing/intergration.
If you can master the art of DB editing, you can add any new 3d stuff.. and you are the Lord of falcon world. ( of course, if you master the code of falcon, you are the GOD of falcon world! )

another decoration item..

Sorry Gentlemen.

Sherlock, sadly i have to tell you that I'm still not able to put them in for my own, but i have the best guys working on it. but you and CCC know best that it is an long and hard road to get a model in the DB, animated, texmapped/ creating a beautiful skin, HP definition, creating/replacing slot and so on.

you sure understand my friends, and as we all see, is that this stuff would have enourmous potential for all these masses of Theaters and thousands of campaign ideas....

put just showing up models brings us not that further, it just brings me sleepless nights.

lets get work this stuff out togther for each theater of choice and we really come forward.

but as you also know best, the terrain job must be finished first..
.. sherlocks bug lists for Irand and so on...CCC all time burner "make sure that the main attack ground routes are working!"....and i just can agree with that. for me also the only way to do it....

We did that lately for Taiwan as you know..

.... in the meantime the first thoughts about this and that 3D model should be started.

err also here, its a hell of a job to get all this terrain and object right and "nicely" looking. hey why i'm telling you that, you know all that even much better than me but, why is nobody really sticking on sometihng, with the support of some other dudes...

you can see that it can work or may work, lol, in ITO1/2,Balkans, Aegean, and so on..

long hard road, but if we never start, we will never have something, just friggin dreams...

oops sorry just my humble opinion,

Cheers to you chiefs!

regards

Mr. Evil :)

i found a nice 3-view pic on the internet, so transformed it into 3d toy.. the default one is a re-skin of BMP-1/2. BMP-3 is quite different from them. BTW.. i found the dimension of defult BMP-1/2 model is off, just too big. Those models should be scaled down to 77%.

ccc, are you creating these vehicles or do you have from older projects?

Can you use my meshes the I made in 2008 febr? You can find it in contributor area. As I can remember I still have the exported 3DS meshes. (I made them using XSI).

I think this T-54/55 is better than current. (I kept as low triangle count as was recommended.)

I stopped the modeling because I was not able to create texture palettes and solving projection problems in XSI and 3D Max too.

i think you've to learn to finish your model, by yourself.
To learn more about 3d modelling skill/tex-mapping, you should look for other dedicated fora.
