What? fair? you joking widmker! Image

Alright, i'll try to do a ROUGH one, once new LE becomes more stable..
To build a Typhoon, you got some options:

1. start from scratch with LE, the only one can do it in this way is, DRAGON!

2. modify F16 shape into typhoon, need powerful new LE to do node copying/pasting, even though, its very time-consuming for reshaping air-intake and twin engine section, but the result will be, as detailed as current Viper shape.

3. my favorite, easy but rough. Bulid it on F5E shape, just like ComGP did. Its quality will be about the same level of most non-viper shape. anyway, you wont tell the difference in most modern combat flights.

Well option 2 would be the best
I think.. since the EF2000 deserves to be modeled the best way possible..

But then again, if you are willing to make
a rough model from the F5, would be cool too
Image.. I'll leave it up to you guys.. Image
I think Aeyes beuatifull cpt deseves a
high quality 3D model...

still I should do more with the proggie myself

New 3.04 is great, thanks to dragon and fred for it, and expetially for 3ds import, althogh i still have to learn how to get they running correctly under falcon...

heres a pic of the EF2000 in LodEdit and how weird its at falcon, im gotta try to get it running well...

Image

Just a minor note, i have to rotate the model because as you can see in the cross when you fly it you are going to the sides.

BTW ccc, can i use your F105 3ds model for my project???, ive found it lost in my hard drive and it looks hell of cool.

well, ComGP, i dont know how you build your 3ds ef2000, seems the conversion failed.

Be sure to check my 3ds shapes in your 3ds max. All of them are built to minimize the use of BSP plains, so, they are hollow shapes.
take a closer look, you'll find they are all built using "exrude" function from a basic hollow shape. No poly is incarcinated with others. Thats why they looks clean in LE3.04, download other 3ds like amx, f102, f104, a4, a7, f8, you'll learn that.
If you model you ef2000 in similar way, it should work.

Im not going to model a 3ds ef2000, i think serious Typhoon fans will do it. However, i've done one by editing F5E shape. post later.

Hey !

This could be exactly what a lot of people have been looking for....

a few of your pics were posted in the typhoon forum of Simhq *ggg* I'll say no more but you have all our support also

(errr apart from Rage/Did and urm... a few of the lightweights *ggg*)

You must keep up the good work !
I'd love to take some more screenshots if I can get a hold of some models?
