nice UI but..as usual, my picky 2c here:

1. the backgroud graphic..like some postcard shot, too peace, just too peace..time freezed! no cloud or INCOMING STORM? i suppose this theater will bring smell of RED STORMing!

2. On the right upper hand, IMHO that pic doesnt reflect the main feature of Iceland theater.

a. the core forces are F106/F4E and F15. I learned that from Harpoon97.
b. battle over sea and beach is the key part. naval vessel gfx should be added.
c. that small pic of ATM launching seems come from Norway excercise? I'd rather add from red forces pic in, like fleet or amphibious landing.

That is one "cool" UI!

just checked Balkan UI, my 2c again:

Its called keeping a common theme... I kinda like it...

Im still not sure about the whole 'blue bar' thing (but Widmak and I have had this out before.. But by keeping a common theme thru-out the UI's creates a sense of a 'package', or organisation... Basically, its making the product (iceland, ODS, Balkans, etc) feel like it is was made for Falcon 4 SP, but making it fit in with the rest of F4SP....

Well, theaters designed to fit SP2 dont mean they should use the-same-theme UI.

Theaters are contributed by many non-F4UT falconeers. Though operating on the SP platform, each one got its very own features, and UI should reflect this, just my 2c.

that's true ccc

everyone is completly free to mod like they want and make the UI like they want.

however if any theatergroup wants a UI (SP2style)
I'll make it for them and ask Terry to make the images for it.

next on my list is Nevada UI
if ComGP wants I will organize this
and get this ready for him

remember noone is forced to do anything
or to conform to anything...
but I gladly fix the UI with Terry
if a team wants us to do so.

OK, in the interest of keeping this forum an agreement-free zone, like other NORMAL F4 forums, I hereby RETRACT the above statment and would like to replace it with:

I dont like any of it!!!! I want the Standard F4 UI back.. I think its ruining the immersion factor and professionalism of the sim... We cant have a sim that both works great and looks good... if you look in a 'real' english dictionary
you'll see Theatre
Theater is American spelling so basically bastard spelling and not english.

but the descriptions have yet to be changed to theatre to be consequent.

yup I guess Theater is unofficial USA use of the word
and Theatre is the 'correct' English spelling

anyways we've choosen Theatre
