For those that not yet have installed ODSV0.512, and those that run into install problems with the Activation.exe provided withing teh ODS Installer, use this activation.exe to activate your ODS install. http://www.pmctactical.org/f4/downloads ... ion_V2.rar

the first one had a huge blunder in it, that had the f4p.exe crash on some peoples system

It didn't crash on my PC - should I still get this file?

no if it installed fine then no need to download - save bandwidth

I used the NEW exe and I still get the level 2: error. Any suggestions?

did you unrar the contents of the ODS rar in the root of Falcon4?
so, when going in the Falcon4 dir do you see a DesstormTheaterAddon dir and the Activation exe?
ifnot there it should be there and you misplaced it.

if this is not it I have one more thing we can try, will look up the sequence of it.

Yes, I did unrar it to F4 root dir.

And removed the origianl ODS 512 exe.

Using V2 still gives me the level2 error

Ok.... it creates the Activation .EXE icon fine. I see the .exe icon in the Falcon4 directory however, it does not create the DesstormTheaterAddon dir. I do not see that

please help.

okidoki, hmm well.
do the following steps.

-create a new dir somewhere
-unrar the files wich are in DesertStormTheater.v0.512.rar into this newly created dir.
-in this dir should now be 1 Activation.exe and a dir called DesstormTheaterAddon.
-copy the contents of this dir in the Falcon4 folder.
-now place the V2 of the activation.exe (wich you downloaded seperatly) also in your Falcon4 folder, and use this one to activate it by clicking on it (once or twice depending on your Windows settings).

I was extracting only the .exe instead of the addon dir...lol

And to start looking for the fault, what was the correct reg search to delete old installs?
