Snakeman, Any word on when we get ot play with the 512x512 ODS ?

The sense of speed at low alt when flying over such stuff makes all the difference in the world.
In fact, so much that if i could ask for just one feature in SP4, it would be 512x512 tiles :)

Nah - we can have a beta with the current textures - in fact we need one - as the update organisation is going to be one mess without a beta "step" now.
Snakeman should soon have one ready... ?

But yeah lets not nitpick on the words, you meant PMC Tactical Fighter Wing this forum, these web pages. Yes these will of course stay online. Since we dont host pretty much anything here, its rather "free of charge" to run these pages, no worries.

But I must say the ODS new tiles looks quite good... just had a quick flight there.

Here is small update for the current texture.bin and tiles we have

coasts OK
roads OK
rivers OK
cities have arable road transitions missing
pastures OK
grazing OK
irrigated OK
arable OK
forest OK
road transition OK
river transition OK
bases are quite much old tiles.
