No I specificly remember seeing Fox News live feed night time shots of airbase taxiway where A-10 taxied. They didn't say which airbase it was due operation security, of course.

Yeah those are not it, as the war was starting/ongoing there was no ground forces in these bases. It was early hours/days of the war that I remember seeing the live feed.

Thanks Ender. Some good stuff here. And I thought this "Campaign Building" was going to be just "Technical". Time to start going through the 10 Video Tapes I kept of live "news" from OIF. Now I know why I did them ;)

Ah I beat you. I got 31 VHS tapes from OIF, mostly from Fox News which is available on sat dish.

My tapes are some 4hrs and rest 3hrs long. Man I still remember sitting in the sofa hours at time just glued to the tv screen. Not many times you see history in the making.

ODS back in 1991 was somewhat missed by me, I didn't even have CNN at that time. So now that I got both CNN and Fox News, I promised to myself that no live feed escapes my grasp this time. So I ended up with 31 tapes of live feed :)

Also as the good documentary material from the wars is pretty rare, its good to have my own documentary material at hand.

I was told you were doing the OIF campaign, maybe we can work together, and compare research and work.

Who told you that? :D as I have just changed "status" within the company so suddenly I have a whole bunch of RL admin crap that I had better concentrate on)

Remember, I am a total "newbie" to the internals of Campaigns, I might just become a big "paign in your @$$"

http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/f ... rsian.html, not a bad site for info on the airbases, it shows where the carriers are, and the OOB on the Navy will help too, as to who was where.

Could not found that link. I know its asking a lot, but could you just copy-paste the data overhere. Like in the good old days in Afghanistan forum we stored the data HERE and not some xyz web site in the world. This way if all fails, we still have the data and can use it.
