Re: FreeFalcon 5.5.1 Georgia theater
I agree teams 1-2 should always be used as the main opposing force against team 6. But, you can separate teams 1 and 2 if you want to... In addition to setting the relations tab in tacedit, check the "active" and "member" settings for both teams. Sounds like team 1 and 2 are linked as in Korea. To u...

Just a thought... Most Falcon TGA's use an 8-bit mode for the color pallate. TGA's in 8-bit mode can be either 256 color or greyscale. Perhaps PSP is defaulting to greyscale? Try looking around for a way to switch the mode to 8-bit 256 color. (I don't use PSP so I don't know where that option would ...

In response to a request by ccc, here is the procedure I used to convert existing aircraft to guns-only in my Korea 1959 campaign. Keep in mind I designed Korea 1959 for FF4-RV, and I haven’t tried the tweak with any other version since then, so I can’t guarantee it still works. At any rate, if you ...

I'd like to take the default F-16 3D pit from RV and import it into FF5.5, seems doable but I have little to no experience with LodEdit.
I read through a couple posts and the wiki, but I'm still a bit confused. Anyone able to help me out with a walkthrough?

OK, so the magic number seems to be 32,759 (give or take a few bytes) for the max size of the .wch file. Looking through my old notes, I unfortunately only wrote down the line number of the limit I reached, which is meaningless since I don't have the .wch file I used to test with anymore.
I'll test it out again and try to get an exact character (byte) count for you.

Re: Captured objectives questions
This is normal. The "Control" field always displays the orignal owner, the "Owner" field is the one that changes when objectives are captured.
IMO the "Control" field is mislabeled in tacedit. If you export the objectives, the column for "Control" is actually "FOwner" (former owner).

An easier way to do it is to set the squad patch to 0 - then it will choose the patch according to the squadron name.
