Re: BIS models in MLOD format

The fact that after my post you still keep the links up tells everything I presume. It's irrelevant if you host them or not, you provide the links to them even at latest now you should know better. Well it's not me who is held responsible. But go ahead, destroy the reputation you had in the communit...

Re: BIS models in MLOD format

Yeah they look official to me. Someone sent me privately link to another one: Private military contractors. First post updated. What a blatant lie! If these files would be official then please explain me why they are not available on any other site except this one? In 2009 you asked around on how t...

Re: Even more forest problems...

Hi JB I had the same problem with my islands released for VBS but with the forest triangles and only if the terrain is very steep. Forest squares that doesn't fit to ground is new to me and in the picture the terrain is pretty flat. Have you tried to remove the class ReplaceObjects section in the co...

Re: UnPBO'd BRG_n2 but...

It's because these models are in MLOD format. WrpTool can't display them in the editor and thus you only see a blue rectangle.

So it's not your fault, it's Berghoff's :-)

Re: Instant preview function

I only can second that, it's one of the most missing features for me in WrpTool.

While it is no big problem to place the default buildings for example, it's a real pain to place the BAS Tonal Buildings on a map because you can't see on which side of the building the door texture is placed.

Re: WrpTool crashing while saving

Hardware is a AthlonXP 3000+, Geforce FX5900 XT and 1024MB RAM. The Island is a retextured Everon with Nogova textures and objects with objects count slightly increased. Overall nothing WrpTool or the system can't handle. But that crash occured several times during the year now, on smaller islands a...

WrpTool crashing while saving

I want to report a problem I encountered a few times recently. When saving a map, WrpTool sometimes saves until some percentage and then suddenly stops responding (of course always then when you have not a backup available) :o It can't be reproduced, in most times it saves without problems then the ...

Re: Mapfact Military Objects Pack..

Hello JB you could have asked me that in the VBS forum, that's why I have a topic there for that addon ;) I tried it too earlier today because I thought by myself maybe JB forgot to disable the fit-to-ground checkmark which is easy to forget but nope, same problem here. They look perfect in the prev...

Re: pbo files...which ones?

If you download the WrpTool 0.950 Upgrade (which you should do) you find a file called "WrpTool_manual.pdf" in the archive.

On page 5 in this manual is a pretty good description on how to install WrpTool and where to put the unpacked OFP data files to ;)

Re: Open beta 09-13-05

Yes, as supposed it was my installation. After a clean install of OFP and only using VTE with that install no more error message showing up.

Another thing I noticed though, the arms of the units are a bit too bright, compared to their hands and considering they are located in that environment. ;)

Re: Open beta 09-13-05

A first little Bug Report after a quick check of VTE Ia Drang: At Grid Di55 you have floating forest trees (and probably on other locations as well). At the big Base (Ja38) there are some old textures from the original SEB Ia Drang Island. When starting OFP I also get an error saying Addon 'sebnam_1...

Re: Baracken addon - open door/gates

Well sorry Snif, I was in a hurry and forgot to mention that as far as I know you can't open gates in the config.cpp. You can do in the init.sqs of a mission though using: object 12345 animate ["Component02", 1] where 12345 is the object ID from the Mission Editor. That's the way I do it. Additional...

Re: Baracken addon - open door/gates

There are no "n00bish" questions... To open/close gates/doors within the mission put this in the init line of the object: this animate ["Component02", 1/0] where "1" is open and "0" is closed. To open the hangar doors you use: this animate ["TorL", 1/0] this animate ["TorR", 1/0] where "TorL" is for...

Re: Suggestions for Bahadur v1.5 release

I downloaded, but haven't checked the Island yet. From the screenshots it looks very promising :) Although I have all of the required addons, I must admit that I was a bit shocked as I have seen the list of required addons. It is maybe really a bit too much, maybe you could use the AfghanEveron Buil...
