Yeah, that's exactly what I need to know. I can't figure out how Midship did it.I think what he needs is to know if there is a way to keep the objects placement after the terrain grid is changed.

In addition to a smaller terraingrid I'm trying to create a bigger terraingrid like 100x100 instead of the standard 50 x50. Mayby I can shine a small light on this one. For Bonaire island I made every single object and noticed also that some do align correctly and some don't. All objects need to be binarized before using them in WRPtool. But if you use the same binarized objects ingame they sometimes appear burried ingam...

You probably used another map name for your p3d object then for your island. This causes that the texture path in your addon is reffering to the wrong map, ak your p3d map and not your island map.

Wrptool only works with binariazed versions of objects, otherwise you get some strange errors, like objects being burried or floating. Another thing is the ground detail setting ingame, on 'normal' ofp generates small crests etc. Objects placed on the terrain will follow these. Indeed the answer lie...

Yes you need to texture the ground under water, otherwise your island will crash.

But I have a problem with exporting parts of my island, no matter what I try I can't get a selection with the so called power of 2 (32x32 or 64x64). Is there a trick to it or do you have to be very precize?
