Building at correct ground level

Post by Gnat » 2004-01-25 14:14:56

Seems to be a one-off problem ....
but why is the Resistance Town Hall not placing itself at the correct level to ground ? :-/
I'm placing it on level ground and it seems 0.5 m too high ... you cant go up the steps.
I can obviously force it lower ...... but I though it should auto-level with the "fit ground" box ticked......

Any ideas ?

I believe that there is a plaza object that is slightly elevated to properly blend with roads. Try placing the plaza at ground level immediately in front of the town hall.

thanks shinRiaden ...... now that I think about it ..... sounds logical.
The plaza ground object raises the "ground" level ....

Cheers!

Yeah, if you lay down in the middle of the road, or better yet place one section of the road and look at the end you'll see the camber (bump) as well.
