Forests

Post by m21man » 2004-01-02 06:56:08

For some reason, I'm placing down forest squares but OFP is cutting off parts of the squares, resulting in corridors in my forest. What can I do to solve this problem?

I for one hate the 1 object forests..... they look like crap from a distance and tanks can't run thm trees over....

you could place indivigual(sp) trees in a cell, select all the trees in that cell... use the object tool to rotate and scale them ( I click the direction  button 3 times and use 38 to 185 scale on them, works for me) then copy and past them where you need them...

just remember lag issuse and don't go overboard with the # of trees...   ;D  (like I do)

The forest squares should allways be placed in cell centers, use the region tool function "centered in cell" or forest tool for that.

OK, I figured that I would put them in the cell center's, and it worked :D .

Good idea, except that I'm making a jungle island ::) .
