I have been working on a re tile of Las Vegas for Nevada, My tiles are greenish tinted and I can't figure out why. I did the tiles and saved the tiles in sets, each with their own palette. Redid the fartile.pal using the most colorful tile from each tile set . I am working in AF with pcx images, 8 bit 256 colors. Here are some screenies.

I think your textures are blended with background X1 colour (I dont know who painted X1 for Nevada).
If you want to see them in pure texture-colour:
Run Monster's MapEditor and change the palete in map file.
You can prepare PAL or ACT file before, or you can export current palette to BMP and
modify it. Make all colours white, or move them just more to the grayscale + perhaps add some brightness.

The work has been done for PMC Nevada theater, this theater comes with AF, RV and OF versions. Tiles are fully working in OF as they are in the other versions too.
