need default sp4 tiles psp pallete

hello folks

does any1 happen to have a psp pallete file which belongs to a default sp4 installation and it's terrain tiles?

i am trying to use bright but it seems it's total file limit is 1024, any higher will cause a ctd..

Are you talking about the fartiles or what palette you mean?

ahh no, the pal file i'm talking about is the 1 needed by dem2terrain while it's generating terrain.

Heh, in Dem2terrain I have always just hit cancel and it skips the pal reading but continues to process.

If I recall correctly (I should recheck the tutorial) you can extract the palette from any of the T-tiles and save it to PaintShopPro JASC color palette, then feed that to Dem2terrain.

I think he is trying to avoid the long process of creating a file made with one tile from each set, and then reducing to 256 colors and saving the palette. With bright you cannot do the process over the entire tile collection of texture.zip, you need to select and put into another folder only one tile from each set, that's a total of 256 tiles to process, well into its limits and quicker than the original style.

exactly.

bright can't handle more than 1024 files at a time. i'll give it a try as you suggested, thanks. 8)

Ahh... you dont have to use tile from each set even if the tutorial says so. Just try to get the most of the colors in and thats good enough.

No way NEAR you need 1024 tiles for that hehe.

sampling a tile from each group does the job! thank you very much gentleman. 8)

tho gimp doesn't know what a .pal is, that's another story... :evil:
